A&H Meat has, since its inception in 1994, grown into an export approved pork distributor with ownership in Zandam Abattoir, which positions us as one of the leading pork suppliers in the Western Cape, supplying the retail market with more than 50 000 carcasses a year.
Our farming partners are carefully selected sow-friendly produces with animal-friendly rearing practices where sows are housed in cradle free groups, temperature controlled environments with computerised feeding systems.
This animal-centric approach is carried forward to the abattoir where we employ international best practices. By not focusing on quantity, we manage a quality-driven slaughter process to deliver the best end product.
Food Safety is a progressively complex responsibility. A&H Meat is dedicated to providing safe, quality products and adheres to a meticulous food safety program tested by independent consultants annually. We are FSA certified and SCF approved.
